This week… España, or to be more precise – Galicia
I hope you enjoy these tunes!

A Bruxa (The Witch) is a Galician waltz composed by Anton Seoane from the band Milladoiro.
The second tune is a Muiñeira, a type of traditional dance and musical genre of Galicia characterised by its lively tempo and 6/8 time signature. This one is called Muiñeira de Chantada and was composed in 1865 by Manuel and Antonio Fernández, members of the Banda del Ferraias.
I first came across both tunes from Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas.
Again, like with the Halling, I have used my loop pedal to add harmonies and arrange it a little more in depth. The fourth time through the muinera is a complete indulgence on my behalf because it is so much fun to play – not to mention hugely satisfying when all the looping actually works!
